Cascades Adventures was started in 2015. It is an MEd project by Jason Fisher as part of his degree in technology integration from the University of Victoria. Cascade Adventures seeks to motivate students to become more actively engaged in school curriculum through outdoor adventures and connections with others. Cascades Adventures uses the Adventure Learning framework to promote collaboration between students and with students and teachers. The goal of Cascades Adventures is to promote active learning in both the classroom setting and outside traditional school walls.
